Public Reception
The public is invited to meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 17.

on view from June 3 – July 30
4 to 9 p.m. on Fridays & Saturdays; 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays (closed on July 7 & 14); 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 3.

This dual solo photography exhibit by AO and Connie Tucker shows the visual benefits of our natural world. Images of hummingbirds, sunsets, streams, forests, and more reduce the stress and mental fatigue of everyday modern life. Enjoy natural well-being without side-effects! For the month of July, additional works by other nature photographers will also be on display. All artwork will be available for sale.

Connie Tucker enjoys candid and nature photography. Nature has always inspired her, with hummingbirds holding a special place in her heart. She was recently co-curator of the Herberger’s “My Favorite Fairy Tale” exhibit, for children ages 2-5.

A O “Archie” Tucker grew up on a farm west of Phoenix before receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University. A self-taught artist, he didn’t become serious about photography until purchasing a DSLR in late 2011. Since his first exhibit at the Herberger in 2014, this native Arizonan has displayed artwork in juried exhibits from California to New York.

Working together, these married photographers have co-curated the successful 2015 “Candid Photography” exhibit for the Herberger Theater at the University Club of Phoenix, as well as the 2016 “Feathers and Fur” exhibit at the Gallery Glendale. The University Club and The Herberger Theater Art Gallery also featured their dual solo exhibits in 2016. This June sees them co-curating the “Animals” exhibit, an art show for children ages 2-5, for the Herberger Theater and First Things First. Currently, they call both Arizona and Nicaragua home.

Artwork on exhibit will be available for sale. For more information, please call 623-930-3557 or email Mvahabzadeh@glendaleaz.com.
