    Peppermint James was formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 2004. With strong influence from The Beatles, The Wailers, traditional jazz and blues artists and many outstanding world musicians, the sound of Peppermint James continually evolves with a no limits attitude towards songwriting and arranging.

    Peppermint James continues their busy schedule of energetic live performances, released their sophomore album and is looking forward to sharing their music on a continuously larger scale.

    Top 40 Cover and Original Guitarists
    The West Hills Brothers are a unique duo of acoustic/electric guitars, vocals and percussion. Carson Smith is on lead vocals, guitar, and percussion and his twin brother Cole plays acoustic and electric guitar and mandolin.

    They are originally from West Hills, California but now live in Arizona and perform on a regular basis at art walks, festivals, private parties and special events throughout the state. Their music is a great mix of classic rock, pop, alternative and original tunes with their own unique style.

    Join us for New Talent Thursdays featuring Jamaica Russo aka Jamaica! Jamaica was brought up with music as a huge part of her life. She began playing music when at the age of 4 or 5 on ukulele. Her first guitar was had at the age of 7 and by age 12 she was a drummer in a band. Jamica’s music is mesmerizing, captivating, and urges you to want more. She crosses the genre clutter with catchy tunes that fit into many categories. Her primary love is blues, however she writes everything from folk to film scores.

    Laura Walsh BandFountain Park, 6:30-9:30pm

    High Energy Country Rock Band
    Nashville recording artist and Arizona native, Laura Walsh, is actively involved in the Southwest music scene. Debuting her brand new album, Take Your Time, Laura has been featured as a pre-show opener for Miranda Lambert and Sugarland. As a local regular, she is making a name for herself at such venues as Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill, Handlebar J, Hard Rock Café and Martini Ranch.

    Her first single, Hit and Run, released in spring 2011, gave listeners just a taste of the power of her voice and songwriting capabilities. Upon release of the full album, Take Your Time, in May 2012, Laura displays who she is: confident, positive, loving, and strong. Take Your Time represents a rite of passage for a young girl that is knocking on the door of greatness.

    “Laura is an incredible new talent! Not only does she sing great and have excellent command as a vocalist, but her lyric writing shows that she has learned the essence of what a good idea can bring to a song. She is a pleasure to work with!” says music industry veteran, Billy Smiley, producer and co-writer for Take Your Time.

    Anyone who is a live country music fan in Arizona has heard of Mary Hoffman! She has been playing music around Arizona for over 10 years and is still one of Arizona’s best vocalists.

    Mixing in originals and covers (everything from Carrie Underwood’s, Before he Cheats to Bruno Mars’, Grenade), Mary takes live music to a whole new level. “Every show I do...I put everything into it! I want people to have as much fun as I do! I just love playing music!” she says.

    Rock, Rockabilly, Blues
    Pat Roberts and the Heymakers play authentic rockabilly/honky tonk music influenced by musicians such as Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Hank Williams and Faron Young.

    The band released its 1st album in September 2011 called “Lonesome and Blue”— a stunning record mixing great traditional influences with Pat Roberts’ warm and passionate vocals in creative songs that make for an elegant and authentic roots-music masterpiece!

    Join us for New Talent Thursdays featuring David Pressley! David Pressley has been playing music for over forty years.
 He received his first guitar at the age of ten. He was self taught and has had the privilege to play from North Carolina, where David is originally from, to Rhode Island, Florida, Nashville, and now Arizona.

    The Nashville experience was fantastic, meeting, talking with, and playing music with the fine musicians there. David was fortunate to get a little airplay in North Carolina from an original song that he wrote and recorded in Nashville.
 These days David plays acoustic covers, mostly the singer/songwriters and country artists that Ihe’s always admired. Feel free to stop by and say hello, David enjoys meeting people and talking about music. He’ll be more than happy to play your requests.

    Shari Rowe BandFountain Park, 6:30-9:30pm

    Nashville Recording Artist Shari Rowe has been on fire with her latest release “Take That Shot.” Currently being played on country radio across the world, you can find Shari performing in Europe, CMA Festival in Nashville, Tennessee, and some of the biggest festivals in Arizona.

    With the new single charting on country radio, Shari Rowe takes aim for a direct hit. When you first hear “Take That Shot,” the new release from Arizona-based country songwriter Shari Rowe, you immediately feel a sense of warmth and introspection. Combining classic country and bluegrass elements with a stellar lineup of Nashville players, Rowe is changing the pace of modern country music.

    “Take That Shot” is a perfect example of how Shari’s music is inspired by her easy-going Arizona childhood, which regularly included campfire stories, horseback riding, and spending a lot of time in the great outdoors. The Maven Records artist traded in private living room concerts for the big stage, performing with acts such as Parmalee and Three Dog Night. When she is not traveling the world sharing her original songwriting, Shari spends quality time with her family, and promotes music education in schools.
