    The music of New Philosophy blends elements of rock, folk and jazz. This Phoenix/L.A. based band has the makings of great rock combos we’ve seen before.

    Comparisons to Steely Dan, Don Henley, Bryan Adams and Sting have been mentioned. Drummer Daniel Villanueva lays down a firm & steady groove for Bassist Al Mora to punctuate. Guitarists Michael and Angel Villanueva fill the mid and upper register with superb chords, as Michael’s catchy and sophisticated melodies are sung with passion.

    Top 40 Cover and Original Guitarists
    The West Hills Brothers are a unique duo of acoustic/electric guitars, vocals and percussion. Carson Smith is on lead vocals, guitar, and percussion and his twin brother Cole plays acoustic and electric guitar and mandolin.

    They are originally from West Hills, California but now live in Arizona and perform on a regular basis at art walks, festivals, private parties and special events throughout the state. Their music is a great mix of classic rock, pop, alternative and original tunes with their own unique style.

    The Chris G. BandFountain Park, 6:30-9:30pm

    Alternative Indie Band
    “Whether it makes you want to dance, makes you want to sing, makes you want to cry, makes you smile, makes you love, or miss someone, let the music be food for your soul.” Chris Garcia was born and raised in the state of Arizona. Chris has been singing and writing since he was a child. Singing in his local church choir, he learned how to use his voice as an instrument. In 2008, Chris joined the local rock group No1else. The band did well, performing at local churches and charity events.

    In 2009, he decided to venture into the music world on his own, perusing his own style of music. Chris draws from influences such as Lifehouse, Michael Jackson, U2 and THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS. Chris’ unique vocals, along with his “fusion-esque” style of music, are sure to draw in listeners and fans of all ages. “I want to tell stories with my songs, but at the same time, be fun. The goal is for the song to draw you in to its world and envelop you. I want my fans and listeners to enjoy the music just like they would a good movie.” His first full length solo album is due out in 2014.

    Funk, Soul, Jazz and R&B Band
    Ratio is one of Phoenix, Arizona’s premier bands specializing in Rhythm and Blues, Jazz, Funk and Pop.

    Recognized as the “Best Jazz Band in Phoenix” by the Phoenix New Times Magazine and the “Best Blues Band” by the Arizona Republic, this versatile band led by founder Larry Rhymes is comprised of some of the best musicians in Phoenix.     Progressive Rock Band
    #1 on the radio scene for Salt Lake City, Advent Horizon is a high-energy progressive rock band, whose single "Justified" is the most requested songon top station KBER 101. Their single "Sky is Falling" also received significant radio play in 2014.

    Met with great reviews, the 2011 release of “Immured” - their first album, produced by Mike Winegar (Primus, Faith No More) - expanded the band’s large following throughout western United States. This success laid the foundation for Advent Horizon's highly anticipated and recently released new album, “Stagehound”, which showcases impressive instrumentation, catchy vocal patterns and a driving beat.

    Alternative Indie Band
    Vintage Wednesday is a rock band from Gilbert, AZ. The band is young, but their music is classic. Vintage Wednesday is highly influenced by rock music from the 60’s and 70’s through today, covering bands like The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, Pat Benatar, U2 and David Guetta. Their originals have a very classic rock sound mixed with an Indie vibe. Vintage Wednesday were finalists in Alice Cooper’s Proof is in the Pudding 2013. The band has performed at Hard Rock Cafe, Alice Cooperstown, PF Chang’s KidsRock AZ, Harvey American, Susan G Komen Race for The Cure and many events across the East Valley.
